This Privacy Policy describes how Kristina Olsen Design LLC, operating as Mothering Together ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Mothering Together application and website located at app.motheringtogether.space (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Who We Are

Mothering Together is a postpartum support companion operated by Kristina Olsen Design LLC. The Service is designed to provide informational and emotional support to mothers during the postpartum period. We are not a healthcare provider, and use of the Service does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. What Information We Collect

2.1 Waitlist Registration

The only personal information we currently collect is your email address, which you provide voluntarily when joining the waitlist. We collect this solely to send you product updates and notify you when the app becomes available.

2.2 In-App Interactions

When you use the Service, any information you enter — including conversations with Elle, mood check-ins, and recovery entries — is stored locally on your device only. This data does not leave your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. We do not have access to the content of your conversations with Elle.

2.3 Usage Data

We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with the Service at an aggregate level. Google Analytics collects anonymized data such as pages visited, session duration, and device type. This data does not include any personally identifiable information and is subject to Google's own privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

3. How We Use Your Email Address

We use your email address only to:

• Send you updates about Mothering Together's development
• Notify you when early access or the full app becomes available
• Share information relevant to your interest in postpartum support

We will not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes. You may unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

4. Email Service Provider

We use Loops (loops.so) to manage our waitlist and send email communications. When you submit your email address, it is stored securely with Loops and subject to their privacy policy. We have a data processing agreement with Loops and they are contractually prohibited from using your information for any purpose other than sending emails on our behalf.

5. Local Data Storage

Information you enter while using the Service — including conversations with Elle, mood reflections, and recovery tracking entries — is stored locally on your device using your browser's local storage. This means:

• Your conversation data never leaves your device
• We cannot access, view, or recover any content you enter in the app
• If you clear your browser data or uninstall the app, your locally stored data will be permanently deleted
• Your data is not backed up to our servers

This architecture is intentional. In the current version of the Service, your personal postpartum data stays entirely in your control.

6. Analytics and Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns. These cookies do not track personally identifiable information. You can control cookie settings through your browser. The Service may set a local storage timestamp to manage waitlist form rate limiting — this is a technical function only and contains no personal information.

7. Children's Privacy

Mothering Together is intended for adults 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at kristina@motheringtogether.space and we will delete it promptly.

8. Data Retention

We retain your email address for as long as you remain on our waitlist or wish to receive communications from us. You may request deletion of your email address at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link in any email. Because in-app data is stored locally on your device, we have no ability to retain or delete it on your behalf.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request confirmation of whether we hold any personal information about you
• Request deletion of your email address from our waitlist
• Opt out of email communications at any time

10. Changes to This Policy

As the Service grows and new features are introduced — including account registration and server-side data storage — we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly and notify you of material changes by email or through the Service.
